Experience the magic of CzechXmas at Wyndham Social, a unique cultural event that blends contemporary art, design, and traditional craftsmanship. From 13 December 2024 to 1 January 2025, Wyndham Social will transform into a vibrant hub of creativity and festive cheer, offering a glimpse into the richness of Czech traditions. The opening ceremony sets the stage with live performances, introduction to the exhibitions, and a special tasting of Czech wines and spirits—an unforgettable start to this cultural celebration.

At the heart of CzechXmas at Wyndham Social are three remarkable exhibitions. Michal Škapa (Tron), one of Czechia’s most renowned contemporary artists, will showcase his bold, urban-inspired works in “Burning Chrome”, his first ever exhibition in Asia.

The event also features Fresh Christmas, a mini exhibition celebrating Czech glass artistry. Curated by Petr Nový, Chief Curator of the Museum of Glass and Jewellery in Jablonec nad Nisou, the exhibition showcases collaborations between DECHEM Studio, Illola Studio, and LLEV Studio, alongside traditional glassmakers Glassor, Irisa, and Rautis. Combining heritage with innovation, the display includes 3D-printed ornaments created by DECHEM Studio with FabLab, PolyU Design and Prusa Research.

Completing the trio is an exhibition of The Most Beautiful Czech Books of the Year 2023. This curated collection of award-winning publications celebrates the artistry of book design in Czechia, showcasing works that blend literature, visual storytelling, and cutting-edge design.

Over the weekend, CzechXmas at Wyndham Social invites visitors to join festive workshops and cultural activities. Whether you are an art lover, a design enthusiast, or simply looking for festive inspiration, CzechXmas at Wyndham Social, a one-of-a-kind celebration of art, design, and the joy of Christmas, promises a magical experience for everyone.
